Key Responsibilities:

The successful C++ Software Engineer will join the engineering team to work on projects using PHP, C/C++ and Python to build solutions in online activity monitoring and analysis. The results will provide customers with insights into the online behaviour of opted-in market research participants.

The C++ Software Engineer in the Server Capture Team will develop, improve, and maintain the systems that provide data capture capabilities of online behaviour for market research projects, with the support of a designated tech lead.

The data capture systems are made up of a combination of open source and bespoke software running on the Linux platform. There is heavy use of automation such as Puppet and Terraform to deliver these capabilities.
